Highly self-motivated biomedical scientist, biotechnologist, and Entrepreneur with 20 years of research & development experience in the areas of bacterial pathogenicity, molecular biology, immunology, monoclonal antibodies production, affinity chromatography protein purification, protein characterization, personal care products and agricultural inputs formulation and manufacturing. After graduating from Dallas Baptist University and UNT Health Science Center in Texas, Olivier gained his scientific experience while working at the same UNT-HSC in Fort Worth and at Baylor Institute for Immunology Research in Dallas. His R&D skills and entrepreneur spirit were further developed with Kasny Recon Inc and its brand of natural personal care line of products Shea Touch, that he co-founded and led for 10 years. Other relevant experiences include clinical practice, organic farming, higher education teaching, international trade and all aspects of business building and management. Olivier is a family man, a well-travelled global citizen, and a diehard entrepreneur with a heart for science, new technologies, and Africa’s development. He has initiated and led several sustainability projects in Africa since 2005, including now SafiBio that he founded in late 2017 now operating in the United States and in Côte d’Ivoire.
